£20 Million Management Training Fund to Develop SMEs

The government has advised that SMEs business managers should seize the opportunity of getting funding for training through the Leadership and Management Development Grant scheme. A match funded grant of up to £1,000 can be spent on leadership training which hopes to achieve business growth while improving competitiveness and productivity.

Approximately, 13,000 SMEs and social enterprises with growth potential could benefit from the scheme and its success would have great consequences for the economy, including greater innovation and employment. The fund will be managed by the regional Leadership and Management Advisory Service and is available starting this month.
