South London Business has developed a free online commercial property database for both property agents and businesses, enabling agents to promote their properties and businesses to locate them.
The database has been designed to be easy to use, and businesses can access information on various types of property (office, retail, industrial, restaurant) across all the participating London Boroughs, by particular borough or town. By simply entering the type, size and location of the property required, the database will provide users with a list of properties that match their requirements. By following the on-screen prompts, they can select the particular properties they are interested in, input their email address, and the database will automatically email the property agent's details. Should the client wish to view the property or find out more they are advised to contact the relevant property agent directly.
The areas covered are as follows:
Bromley
Croydon
Kingston
Lambeth
Lewisham
Merton
Richmond
Sutton
Wandsworth
If you wish to participate in this service, full details of the properties for uploading onto the database, including a photograph, where possible, may be submitted to us by either by e.mail in pdf format to or by post to:

Landlord – Nigel Gill
Nigel Gill is landlord of several small business units in Bromley, each offering between 700 and 1200 sq ft of space either for small workshops or B1 use.
Seeking potential tenants he contacted his local council and found a link to SLB’s commercial property database.
“It’s a quiet time but I have had several enquiries as a result and a couple of the units have been booked,’ he says. “I will use the database again.”
