Apprenticeships for Business Free Event 10 September 2009

Carshalton College’s Business Services Unit will be hosting a free event for South London businesses on the benefits of the Apprenticeship programme. The event will be held at Carshalton College on Thursday 10th September, 10am – 3pm. Attendees will be given the chance to hear how other local business are currently working with the Apprentices, details on the Appreticeship matching service and how to access funding onto the scheme.
The event will also cover other aspects of training and skills development, available locally to a cross-section of industries including: Accountancy, Business and Administration, Beauty, Hairdressing, Catering, Health Care, Early Years, Motor Vehicles, Electrical, Construction and Building Crafts, Educational and Gas Installation.
Linking trade suppliers and local businesses is an important element of the event too and local businesses are invited to exhibit at event’s ‘Trade Fair’.
As hosts of the event, Carshalton College will be offering free training courses* and a light lunch to attendees.
Carshalton College, is a long established vocational training provider, with extensive experience of delivering training solutions for organisations and their employees. The College currently manages over 400 apprentices working with 350 employers, and provides training solutions across a varied range of industries, including electrical installation business Smith & Byford and national restaurant group Pizza Express.
