Associate Membership

As the voice of business, South London Business' primary focus is to support, represent and work with the private sector by acting as a link with the numerous public sector bodies in London. Many local authorities in south London subscribe to South London Business for the services and support we offer. The Learning and Skills Council also subscribes to South London Business. In 2007 we launched our business club, Celsius, for the top 100 businesses in south London. Celsius membership is by invitation-only and only offered to the largest or most strategically significant companies in south London. Celsius activities are publicised online and through our bi-monthly magazine South London Business. The magazine, launched in January 2007, is taken by over 6,000 businesses and a number of major south London hotels and conference centres. In May 2007 we launched the South London Business Awards which over 400 business people attended.

In order to allow more public organisations to engage with the business community, through South London Business, we have created an Associate Membership package. Associate Membership is £4,700 + VAT per annum.

Our Associate Membership package is designed to help provide Associates with exposure to potential clients by providing business development and networking opportunities, including:

  • Two complimentary invitations for each South London Business held during the year. (A minimum of six events will be held each year).
  • Two complimentary invitations to attend the South London Business Awards Black Tie Dinner and Awards' Ceremony.
  • Up to twenty complimentary copies of each edition of the South London Business bi-monthly magazine (six editions are published each year), posted to a single address in London.
  • One page of editorial in one edition of the magazine, with an opportunity to purchase advertising space.
  • Two complimentary invitations to a Celsius event.
  • Opportunities to promote your organisation to businesses in South London at our events and activities.
  • Acknowledgement in SLB publications.
  • Copies of the SLB business survey results and other SLB reports.
  • Regular e-newsletters from SLB.
