Founded in Switzerland in 1967, Jet Aviation operates a fleet of over 70 top range jets, including Dassault Falcon Jets, Gulfstreams and Challengers.

The company chose to invest in Biggin Hill, South East London owing to the area’s importance as an aviation centre and proximity to London’s financial district. Mindray, a leading Chinese medical device company, sought to maximise its sales in the UK and Europe.

Mindray is a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices. Established in Shenzhen, China, in 1991, it is now growing rapidly in Europe and Asia and has around 2,400 employees worldwide. Its products fall into three areas: patient monitoring devices, diagnostic laboratory instruments and ultrasound imaging systems. Sales totalled around $140 million in 2005.

Mindray UK was successfully set up in Twickenham, London. Focusing on marketing and sales, the office is successfully improving relationships between Mindray and its European distributors and promoting the company’s equipment across the continent.
