Carol Bagnald, HSBC Regional Commercial Director, London

Appointed to the role on 1st May 2009, Carol has overall responsibility for the commercial business across London.  Carol is a director for South London Business, West London Business as well as Chair for Celsius, the exclusive top 100 Corporate Club for CEOs/MDs.  She recently joined the Board of Think London as well as the British Fashion Council.  Latterly becoming a member of Cosmetic Executive Women, CEW (UK), the leading organisation for women executives working within the cosmetics industry.

Much of Carol's career has been in the commercial arena in and around London and the south.  Her interest in business extends beyond her role as Regional Director for HSBC, often invited to speak and comment on the business world both in the public and private sector.  She has previously been a Director for North West London TEC, chaired various economic development bodies and is an accredited Investor in People Assessor, as well as a governor for a tertiary college.

Carol champions diversity in the business world externally and internally within HSBC, with London having the largest multicultural banking team as well as a huge supporter of Women in Business initiatives.

She celebrated 30 years with HSBC in 2007 and lives in Hampshire with her teenage son.
