To help you access the skills and advice you need. The expertise that will help you make the difference to the growth of your business.

What is City Growth Accelerator?

City Growth Accelerator is an innovative new programme designed to help your company grow, subsidising the costs of the specialist consultancy advice needed to help you take the next step in the evolution of your business. From help with the launch of a new product or service, to advice on how to develop your marketing or raise finance, the City Growth Accelerator programme will introduce you to the professional consultants who know how to grow your business.

All the consultants who are involved in this programme are successful business professionals, and their help and fresh input could give your business a valuable new perspective on plans, goals and future challenges. Ordinarily, such expert help is beyond the reach and budgets of all but the largest businesses, but thanks to City Growth Accelerator that is no longer the case as grants of £1250, £2500 and £5000 are available.

If your application is successful, and once we have established the type of advice you need, you will be able to retain the services of one of the following advisors, all of whom have agreed to discount their fees to ensure your get the best possible advice at the best possible price:

Is my business eligible?

Is your business based within Crystal Palace, Anerley, Penge, Elmers End, Upper Norwood, South Norwood, Selhurst, Thornton Heath, Broad Green, Norbury, Streatham, West Norwood, Gypsy Hill Deptford, Brockley, Blackheath, New Cross, New Cross Gate, Lewisham or East and West Greenwich?  Do you employ over three staff? Do you have the drive and ambition to take your business to a new level? And are you prepared to invest in your future?

If you can answer ‘yes’ to all of these questions, then you are eligible to apply for Accelerator support.

What is the catch?

There no catches, but nothing in life is free! If your application is successful, you will have to contribute towards the costs of the advice you receive. For every pound you invest in your future, City Growth Accelerator will invest £2 (up to the value of the grants available) i.e. if you receive a £5000 grant you will be expected to contribute £2500 towards the costs. After all, it is your business!

How do I apply?

The application process is simple and easy. Click Here to download an application form or alternatively you can complete our ONLINE APPLICATION FORM . Once your application has been received it will be assessed and checked. An Accelerator advisor will contact you and establish the type and scope of advice you need. Your application will then be considered by an expert panel of ‘judges’. If your application is successful, you will receive a grant. If not successful, our Accelerator team will advice you of the best route to taking your business forward.
