Getting Croydon Back in Business

The London Borough of Croydon and the Mayor of London are committed to a special weekend on August 20/21st to persuade people to come and spend some time in the Town Centre. Promotions to encourage visitors are likely to include:

Free tram travel for all or part of the weekend
Free on street and surface parking within the environs of the Town Centre, including South End
Special offers on car parking 
Competitions
Town Centre store and retail promotions

This is Croydon's chance to show that it is back in business and to encourage as many people as possible to return to the Town Centre.
