Information for Host Employers

SLB Logistics Apprenticeship Training Agency (ATA) is available to employers from just £114 a week.
 
Our offer is very simple - we are looking for host employers to commit to taking young people (16 - 19 years old) for a period of 9 months, in real jobs.  They will be employed by SLB Logistics, and during that time will complete a logistics based apprenticeship, part of which is a NVQ.
 
The cost for all of this is only £114 + VAT per week (of which the apprentice would get £95), considerable less then what general agency would charge your business. For a 37 week period this would total £4218 + VAT and this is for 35 hours a week.
 
The £19 (20%) is used to cover our running costs, and as a Community Interest Company (C.I.C) any surplus is re-invested in the company - we are not a profit driven business. 
 
There are no hidden extras and no additional costs for the NVQ training.  The NVQ element of the apprenticeship can be supported by either your internal training department, or we will pair you with an industry recognised training provider that can deliver this for you.
 
We are able to follow your recruitment guidelines - and ensure that any of the candidates that we put forward meet your minimum standard.  You are under no obligation to take on those candidates we put forward, or indeed even keep them after the 9 month period.
