SLB Group ATA, part of South London Business, established an Apprentice Training Agency (ATA) in 2010 to make the process of employing an apprentice easier for a company by recruiting, employing and training young people, while they get on-the-job experience with a company.

SLB Group ATA helps employers take on young people full-time for a period of nine months in real administration and logistics jobs. The focus is to help young people gain real work experience at their placement which is part of completing their logistics/administrative based apprenticeship, while gaining a qualification.

We help companies grow their business without worrying about the risks involved in taking on a new member of staff, such as employment liability. We employ the young person for the company and take on all the risk and paperwork involved.

Approximately 20-30 young people are recruited by SLB Group ATA each month.  These apprentices are then placed with a company that needs their specific skills.
 
Through this programme we are providing real jobs for young people with a fully recognised apprenticeship while supporting businesses in England to grow and develop.

Apprentices can get a professional qualification in any of the below subjects and are often offered a full-time job with the company they have worked for on finishing their apprenticeship. Below are examples of careers that an apprentice can get.

Customer Service

Some of the careers available include:
• Customer advisor
• Customer service agent
• Sales support
• Planning office

Business and Administration

Some of the careers available include:
• Administrator
• Operations officer
• Office assistant
• Coordinator

Warehousing and Storage

Some of the careers available include:
• Trainee export/import clerk
• Warehouse operative
• Business administrator
• Customer service clerk
• Removals

To register go to the Register your details page and enter your CV details - address, telephone number (mandatory), education & Grades, work experience, strengths, areas for improvement & interests.

Once you have registered all you have to do is log in.

LOG IN NOW

Once you have logged in search for SLB Logistics vacancies, all you have to do is:

1. Click the 'Go' button next to 'Search for Vacancies'
2. Search by 'Learning Provider'
3. Enter Learning Provider name - SLB Logistics
4. Select 'Location' - London
5. Search
