17/04/2009: Early Start For Loan Fund

One of the Government’s flagship funds to help voluntary and community groups overcome the impact of the recession is open for business.

Although not officially set to start until later this month, interested organisations are invited to register an interest in securing interest-free loans worth up to £500,000 from the £16.5 million Modernisation Fund.

16/04/2009: Match Fund Leading Recession Fightback

Universities and colleges across England are to share almost £60 million funding to help businesses overcome the economic downturn.

Seventy-seven further and higher education institutions will receive support from the Economic Challenge Investment Fund to deliver a series of tailored training courses, skills development advice and professional support to individuals and companies hit by the recession.
