New Grant for Research and Development Scheme

A new grant for Research and Development scheme (Grant for R&D) has come into effect since the start of this financial year.  The grants will be offered to single companies (pre start ups, start ups and SMEs) with three types available - proof of market grant; proof of concept grant and a development of prototype grant. This scheme aims to support small businesses to research and develop new products with the overall aim of encouraging economic growth.
