REGISTER NOW FOR THE RBS SOUTH LONDON BUSINESS AWARDS 2009

20th November 2008

Registration is now open for the RBS South London Business Awards 2009 and members of the public especially are being asked to nominate their favourite local firms.

The prestigious award scheme is masterminded by South London Business and sponsored by Royal Bank of Scotland. Other sponsors include Ixion Holdings, Tentacle Design, and Thackray Williams LLP, with Newsquest South London as the media partner.

Despite a difficult economic climate the Awards, covering the whole of the London area south of the River Thames, are an excellent way to promote business opportunities while boosting the morale and motivation of employees.

“Entry is free but winning is priceless,” said chief executive of South London Business Peter Pledger, “There are 12 categories covering firms of every size so there are plenty of opportunities for companies to enter.  ”

Nominations are already coming in from companies themselves and those that are short listed will benefit from valuable media exposure in the local press and SLB’s own magazine.

The competition organisers also want to receive nominations from South London residents who have received a good service from local firms.

Nomination and registration is easy and can be done through the RBS South London Business Awards website www.slbawards.co.uk or by just texting AWARDS to 60777.

Deadline for entries is February 27th 2009 but the organisers want firms and residents not to delay but get those nominations in as soon as possible. The winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at Crystal Palace FC on May 20th next year.
