Businesses across south London that are members of either Sutton Chamber of Commerce or South London Business can now benefit from a groundbreaking reciprocal membership agreement signed by the two organisations.
As part of the agreement members of Sutton Chamber, which provides networking and
business development opportunities for companies in Sutton, also become members of
South London Business. Members of South London Business, which provides networking
and business support and training services to companies across all twelve Boroughs south of the Thames, will now be able to benefit from an extended range of membership benefits and joint member’s events with Sutton Chamber.
The key benefits of the agreement are:
• Members of Sutton Chamber become members of South London Business.
• Sutton Chamber members can attend South London Business membership events at
the SLB member’s rate.
• South London Business members can attend Sutton Chamber events at the Sutton
Chamber member’s rate.
• South London Business and Sutton Chamber will develop a series of joint events for
the benefit of all members.
Peter Pledger, Chief Executive of South London Business, said “We are delighted to have reached agreement with Sutton Chamber on a reciprocal membership deal. Our
membership offer has been developed to provide companies across south London with the opportunity to network beyond their borough boundaries and establish effective and
profitable business contacts. By working together with Sutton Chamber, businesses in Sutton will have access to a larger network of potential clients and contacts, and importantly our members outside of Sutton will now have an effective route to making new contacts in the Borough.
Chairman of Sutton Chamber, David Duncan said “We are really pleased that Sutton
Chamber of commerce is the first of the Chambers to join SLB membership. We feel that the benefits of working with SLB membership will greatly enhance business relationships between Sutton and other businesses in south London. Our aim at Sutton Chamber is to use SLB as a vehicle to promote Sutton as an up and coming place to do business.â€
Ross Feeney, Director of Business Support at South London Business, who oversees South London Business’ membership programme said “I believe this agreement is a good deal for members of both organisations, and helps stimulate business across south Londonâ€.
