SLB awarded the Matrix standard

We are delighted to announce that SLB has been awarded the prestigious Matrix standard. This is in recognition of the quality of information, advice and guidance we offer to learners and job seekers.

Each year, hundreds of people gain from the programmes SLB provides. We support work-based training in a range of skills and we source labour market opportunities for young people through our highly successful Apprenticeship Training Agency. At the heart of our success lies the quality of our information, advice and guidance. Young people, in particular, need advise that is practical and takes due account of their aspirations and circumstances. With the demise of the Connexions services such support is more necessary than ever.

The Matrix assessor praised SLB for the care we take in monitoring the progress of learners towards the completion of their training and work placements and for the way the SLB skills team pulls together in support of the individuals we train and employ.
