When NatWest surveyed 1,200 SMEs about advice to help their business grow, how to win new customers (53%) was their number one concern. The issue was even more important to small businesses with 62% looking for advice on this issue.
In response, and as part of a wider initiative to offer a one-stop-shop of online support to SMEs, NatWest has teamed up with entrepreneurs and business website Smarta to offer free, live and interactive webinars to businesses looking for advice. Online support will vary from live video streaming, audios and presentations covering a wide range of topics raised in the SME survey.
The NatWest Business Knowledge Webinar series is launching with a live online video event, ‘How to win new business’ on 19th May at 2.30pm with entrepreneur and Smarta investor, Deborah Meaden, Account Director at M&C Saatchi, Marcus Peffers and NatWest Chairman of Small Business, Peter Ibbetson. The webinar will focus on what businesses need to do to win new customers and viewers will be able to register questions for the speakers before and during the live event.
Deborah Meaden commented: “I’m a supporter of Smarta and share their belief in supporting entrepreneurial spirit and encouraging growth through quality advice. I’m looking forward to a lively debate and urge businesses to make the most of the session by posing some challenging questions.â€
