South London's Top Companies Heading For Award Glory

The region’s top business people and organisations have been selected as finalists for the South London Business Awards 2008, by a panel of expert judges representing some of the area’s top companies.

Businesses of varying sectors and sizes are competing for the nine trophies on offer. The finalists span across the boroughs, representing industries ranging from male grooming to energy suppliers, leisure to security.

Chairman of the judges, Peter Pledger of South London Business said: “Following a full assessment by the judging panel of a record number of entries, I am very pleased to confirm that we have agreed a range of excellent finalists for the South London Business Awards. All the finalists are great examples of the strength and quality of the business community across the 12 South London boroughs. I am very much looking forward to the awards ceremony, it is set to be a fantastic evening!�

The lucky winners will remain a closely guarded secret and will not be revealed until the glittering Oscars-style awards ceremony and dinner on Monday 19 May at Crystal Palace Football Club, Selhurst Park.
