The Lord Mayor's Dragon Awards - open for applications

The Lord Mayor's Dragon Awards recognise and celebrate community engagement in Greater London. Activities include charity partnerships, employee volunteering, employability initiatives and local purchasing.

The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Michael Bear, invites applications to the Dragon Awards 2011.

Applications are welcome from all businesses, public bodies and community organisations which are making a positive impact and engaging with communities in London.

Workshops to find out more about the Awards and to provide tips on what makes a successful application are being held on 12 and 17 May.

The application deadline is 13 June, and all applicants will receive a complimentary invitation to the celebratory dinner at The Mansion House on 20 September.
