Trailblazer project seeks to improve awareness of DSPs

Trailblazer is a 3 year Intelligent-Energy Europe funded project whose aim is to cut the energy use related to freight activity. Trailblazer has been working with local authorities in South London assisting them with a Delivery and Service plan (DSP). Their strategy details how the organisation intends to deal with the efficiency of freight transport in a safe and sustainable way.

Sutton has been a leading borough in the UK on sustainable and environmental transport initiatives for years therefore is proud to be a Trailblazer in this project.  This can be transferred to private sector businesses as they may be able to use the cycle delivery service whilst local authorities may also be interested in reduced journey delivery services.
